October 5th, 2024, was a day to remember for Brandi and her fiancé Jack tied the knot at Kacena Farms in Vinton, Iowa. With the weather leaning warm and welcoming, we faced a playful challenge that day—a gusty wind that seemed determined to make its presence known in every scene! While the breeze added some unexpected twists to filming, it ultimately made for some of the most beautiful, candid moments.

Setting the Scene: A Country-Boho Dream

The wedding’s vibe was a unique blend of country and boho chic, effortlessly combining modern rustic charm with touches of elegance. Kacena Farms provided a stunning backdrop, and as the wind danced through the fields, it brought a lovely, ethereal element to the day. The venue, with its open spaces and greenery, perfectly complemented the couple’s style—a testament to the careful planning that Brandi and her team of vendors brought to life.

A Glimpse Behind the Scenes

We began early with the bridal preparations, capturing the girls’ morning excitement around 8 am while the guys joined in around noon. Filming their prep felt intimate and joyful, filled with laughter, anticipation, and quiet moments with close family and friends. The gusts occasionally added a little challenge, especially with hair and makeup (props to the talented beauty team for their patience!), but the warmth and spirit in the room made it all worth it.

First Looks and Private Vows: A Touch of Tenderness

First looks are always a highlight, and this wedding had a few touching ones. Brandi shared heartfelt moments not only with her groom but also with her dad, and each scene was filled with love and anticipation. After the ceremony, the celebrations truly kicked off! As the sun began to set, I filmed Brandi and Jack among the Christmas trees, where the light caught on the leaves just right. The couple’s daughter joining them on the dance floor was a special highlight, bringing tears and smiles to everyone around.

The best man, maid of honor, matron of honor, and even a few family members took to the mic to share stories and offer their best wishes.
