A Country Love Story: Amber and Ryan’s Farmhouse Wedding
On September 21, 2024, Amber and Ryan said "I do" in the most down-to-earth and heartfelt way possible—right at home on their farmhouse property. The day was classic country from start to finish, with the wedding hosted in a machine shed, right next to their home. It was the perfect spot for these two, as every corner felt like them: laid-back, family-centered, and so genuine. Our day together kicked off with Amber getting ready at Auiginal Design. The morning was one of those gently rainy ones, with sprinkles off and on, as if the weather was just as excited for the big day. After finishing up at Auiginal, we headed to the cabins at Lake Icaria, where Amber slipped into her wedding dress. Watching her excitement as she transformed into a bride was such a beautiful moment. Finally, with her dress on and her loved ones by her side, we made our way back to her farmhouse where Amber and Ryan shared their vows privately. The absence of a traditional ceremony made it even more intimate and personal—exactly the vibe they wanted. After their vows, we transitioned seamlessly into photos, and soon after, the celebration began. Amber and Ryan skipped over some of the typical formalities to keep things relaxed and fun. We went straight into the grand entrances, cake cutting, branding and dances, and their joy was contagious throughout. The evening ended in pure magic, with a 7:30 p.m. send-off, where sparklers lit up area before Amber and Ryan hopped into a semi, riding off together into a picture-perfect sunset. One of my favorite discoveries? Ryan’s real name is Clifford—he’s the third generation of Cliffords in his family, adding a sense of history to their day. And Amber’s middle name, Rose, is a tribute to her grandma. Their love story kicked off in a way that only happens in small-town America: Amber made the first move after helping Ryan work on a cow at the vet clinic, where she managed to mess up his account by accident. As funny as that was, it seems she stole his heart too. One of the best parts of Amber and Ryan’s wedding was the overwhelming sense of familiarity. Almost the entire family of my stepdad-who-isn’t-my-stepdad-anymore was there for Amber. We grew up attending church together, spending summers hanging out in the pig barns. Seeing my uncle stand up as Ryan’s best man was a surreal full-circle moment that felt more like a family reunion than a wedding! As their videographer, capturing Amber and Ryan’s day was a blend of family, tradition, and timeless romance. Their wedding wasn’t about grand gestures—it was about genuine connection and spending the night enjoying everyones company! Thank you Amber and Ryan for having me be part of your special day.
Cheers Friends,
JP
